Mitch Holthus - Play By Play Announcer Since joining the team as the “Voice of the Chiefs Radio Network” in 1994, Mitch has established himself as one of the Midwest’s most recognizable and honored broadcasters. There are only a small handful of announcers in the NFL who can top Mitch’s tenure doing play-by-play. Before coming to pro football, Mitch spent 14 years as the voice of football and basketball for Kansas State University. He’s also can be seen and heard on Fox Sports television coverage of Missouri Valley basketball and Gateway Conference football. A native of Smith Center, Kansas, he’s a graduate of Kansas State.
Len Dawson - Color Analyst
Len Dawson is one of Kansas City’s sporting icons thanks in large part to leading the Chiefs to a Super Bowl IV victory over the Minnesota Vikings. Len’s long AFL-NFL playing career was capped in 1987 with his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, just a few miles down the road from his hometown of Alliance. He joined the Chiefs Radio Network in 1985 and has provided analysis of every game since then. A graduate of Purdue University, Len began his broadcasting career while he was still playing and can be seen every weeknight handling the sports report on KMBC-TV Channel 9.
Bill Grigsby - Veteran Chiefs Broadcaster
Bill Grigsby has been part of the Chiefs Radio Network in some manner and form for almost every season since the team moved to Kansas City from Dallas in 1963. He served as color analyst in the early years, even doing play-by-play for the radio network at Super Bowl I at the Los Angeles Coliseum. He’s also been part of the game-day pre-game show for as long as anyone can remember, including Bill. A native of Joplin, MO., Grigs has been in the broadcasting business for over 50 years.
