A 24-year-old Savannah man was killed late Tuesday night in a motorcycle accident near Amazonia.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that Ryan Bomar was riding north on route-CC north of Amazonia, when his motorcycle left the roadway, rolled down an embankment and into a fence.
Bomar was thrown from the motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
This is the 26th traffic fatality of 2008 in the Highway Patrol's troop H in Northwest Missouri
