A 33-year-old Grant City woman was killed in a one-car accident early Saturday.
State troopers report Dawn Shafer was eastbound on Missouri Route-46 west of Grant City when her Nissan left the roadway and rammed into a tree. Shafer was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says this marks the 25th traffic fatality of the year in Troop H.
